These plates to the global national and global buyers are delivered at market leading rates only.

Information about carbon steel plate-

Carbon steel plate is considered to be the steel that is not having much alloying components. Generally, these elements are Si, C, Mn, P, and S and aside those, no minimum limits of elements of V, Ni, Cr, and Al are there. Carbon steel plates, also known as mild steel plate, are offered to buyers in various grades. These grades depend on the strength and carbon content. There are high, medium and low carbon content steel plates. The more carbon is contended, the more strong and durable the plate become. The further sub-categories are depending on the wall thickness and usability and process of formation.

High carbon steel description-

The high carbon steel is having carbon ranging from 0.60% to 1.00% with the manganese ranging from friom0.30% to 0.90%. The pearlite is having a fine structure that is making the steel harder. Unfortunately, this is making the steel brittle and less ductile than mild steel. High carbon and medium steel are used widely in many applications. The increasing carbon as the main alloy for steel hardness and high strength is the economical approach for well-improved performances. Some of the effects of the elevated carbon level are including reduced weldability, impact toughness, and ductility. When the reduced properties can be tolerated, the increased strength and hardness of the high carbon material could be used at the noteworthy advantage. High carbon common applications are including forging grades, wear resistant steels (forgoing and plates). In order to increase the steel performance in the applications, it is common to increase the hardness and strength by increasing the level of carbon to the greatest practical level. The limiting factor to the addition of carbon is varying differently that is depending upon the application types. Usually, the high carbon steel is having 0.60% to 1.00% of carbon and ultrahigh carbon steel is an experimental alloy that is having about 1.25% to 2.0% of carbon. The steel is processed thermo chemically for producing microstructure that is consisting of ultrafine, uniform distribution of spherical, fine proeutectoid carbide particle. These microstructures in the steel have led to superplastic behavior.

The manufacturing process of the plates-

The manufacturing process of High carbon steel plates begins up with the effective use of superior quality of alloy that is collected from reliable market mills. The producers are making use of available latest technology and modern tools so that the high quality of the product can be fabricated. The manufacturing of High carbon steel plates is executed under the strict guidance of professional experts having good skills and knowledge of product development. At the time of product manufacturing, the producers are considering raw material quality standards and national and international product quality standards. Also, the quality control team is appointed that are looking at the product quality by keeping in mind several product quality measurements.

Testing-

Before shipping of the product, testing is conducted in order to check the quality of manufactured ranges of High carbon steel plates. The tests done are like mechanical test, chemical test, macro test, micro test, positive material identification test, intergranular corrosion test, flattening test, flaring test, pitting resistance test, etc.

Documents and test certifications provided-

The documents offered to the buyers are like fumigation certificate, commercial invoice, guarantee letter, quality assurance plan, packaging list. Also, the other documents inclusive of NABL approved lab test report, raw material certificate; material traceability report, etc are provided. The test certifications are also provided like mill test certification as per EN 10204/4.1B, third-party inspection report, 100% radiography test report, raw material certificate, and buyers report.

Packaging of the product-

During the time of delivering process, the packaging of High carbon steel plates is done by using wooden pallets, loose and according to the buyer’s request. Packaging assures in safer shipping of the product to the buyers. This guarantees timely delivering of the product to the esteem patrons without harming the surface.
